Opening a company
In 1948, the Ministry of Housing and Civil Construction of the Ukrainian SSR put into operation the Kiev plant of cinder-concrete blocks on the street. Parkhomenko, 53 (now Degtyarevskaya, 53), for the purpose of making wall materials for the restoration of Kiev destroyed by the war. The plant was built on the basis of a progressive technological complex of the BESSER company (USA), supplied under the lend-lease program. The productivity of two BESSER presses per day (two-shift schedule) was 18 thousand cinder blocks. Two years later, the production of prefabricated prestressed beams with a length of 4.5 and 6 m was organized for the arrangement of floors in commercial and residential buildings.

Relocation
In 1975, the production was relocated to the area of the new industrial zone of the Leningradsky district (now Svyatoshinsky district) in Kiev on the street. Yakutskaya, 5, where the new Kiev plant of slag concrete blocks was built.

The first in Ukraine
In 1988, the company launched an automated line for the production of paving slabs with dimensions of 500x500mm. The plant became the first in Ukraine manufacturer of vibropressed figured paving elements (FEM).

Zenith
In 1994, the enterprise switched to using vibropresses from Zenith (Germany). The range of products has expanded with new standard sizes of concrete wall blocks and side stones of the European standard.

Renaming
In 2003, the Kiev plant of slag concrete blocks changed its name to “Spetsbeton Plant”.

Abetone
In 2015, “Abeton” started the production of reinforced concrete pipes with an integrated rubber seal and surface drainage elements from highways.

Dash
In 2019 there was a merger of the companies “Plant Spetsbeton” and “Abeton”. The merger gave a new impetus towards the production of reinforced concrete products for the construction of underground engineering networks, roads, housing and industrial construction and individual products. A large-scale technical re-equipment of production began.
