Ring pipe tensioner UTK (2UTK 720-24 set of 2 pcs) is a product of the precast concrete group. It is used to weigh down pipelines laid in difficult hydrogeological conditions, for example, in swampy or waterlogged areas. The weight has the shape of a semi-ring (exactly repeats the radius of the pipe). The design has three “eyes” to connect the elements together. During installation, two half-rings are connected to each other, forming a single ring.
Ring weights 2UTK 720-24 are used to ensure the stability of pipelines laid in swampy and waterlogged areas. Due to the fact that the elements create a certain pressure on the pipe, i.e. create a load, normal ballasting and fixing of the pipeline trench is ensured.

Weights are designed for ballasting main pipelines when crossing rivers and water barriers, as well as when laying pipelines in waterlogged soils. Weights are installed on the pipe and are calculated in such a way to withstand the loads that occur during storage, transportation, installation and passage of pipelines.
