Pipes for microtunneling
Pipes for microtunneling ABMICRO
Pipes for microtunneling ABMICRO
Pipes for microtunneling ABMICRO are designed for laying by the trenchless method (microtunneling method):
– non-pressure collectors of rainwater, domestic and technical sewage;
– drainage pipelines;
– cases for pressure sewage pipelines,
water pipelines, gas pipelines, oil pipelines, heat supplypipelines, cables;
– culverts under highways and railways;
– deep-water outlets;
– dukes.
Pipe marking
Тс is a cylindrical bell-shaped pipe with a metal shell, with a stepped butt joint surface of the bushing end and butt joints sealed with rubber rings. The first group of numbers indicates the diameter of the nominal passage in centimeters and the useful length in decimeters.
The second group of numbers indicates the bearing capacity of the pipe. The letter “M” indicates the type of microtunneling pipe, the postfix “PLAST” and the letter “O” respectively indicate pipes with internal polyethylene lining and with bentonite injection holes.
The pipe with holes for injection of bentonite mortar is used to fill the construction gap and reduce the pushing force, which allows to increase the length of pushing without an intermediate jacking station.
Tsp is a cylindrical bell-shaped pipe with a bell in the form of a metal casing, with a narrowed front part, which allows telescopic movement inside the metal casing of the Tcm pipe, a steel resistance ring is located at the front end, the joint surface is sealed with rubber rings.
The first group of digits indicates the diameter of the nominal passage in centimeters and the useful length in decimeters. The second group of numbers indicates the thickness of the resistance ring in millimeters. The letter “M” indicates the type of microtunneling pipe, the postfix “P” indicates pipes with an inner polyethylene sheath.
Microtunneling technology
Microtunneling is a trenchless technology for laying underground utilities that eliminates the need for a range of works associated with traditional technologies. Unlike the open-cut method, it does not require opening the surface along the entire route of the communications, which inevitably entails the closure of traffic and pedestrian traffic, cutting down of garden and park plantations and other negative effects.
Advantages:
– Land displacement is minimized.
– Low impact on nearby residents and the environment
– No need to lower the groundwater level
– Minimal negative impact on traffic
– Depth of laying is practically unlimited
