Representatives of ABETON visited the world’s leading water industry exhibition, which took place from May 13 to 17 in Munich. This is the largest trade fair for the water supply, wastewater, waste and raw materials management industry.

The key themes of this year’s Munich Trade Fair were climate change resilience, digitalization opportunities, optimized wastewater treatment, and global water justice.

The exhibition included the International Seminar on Standardization in the Water Sector, as well as the events “Rebuilding Ukraine” and “Get together”, where Ukrainian experts took the opportunity to talk about the problems and challenges faced by the water industry in Ukraine during the war.

IFAT Munich 2024 ended with high attendance:

• Around 142,000 visitors from nearly 170 countries and regions
• 3,211 exhibitors from 61 countries
• 300,000 square meters of exhibition space
