AbShelter prefabricated reinforced concrete bomb shelter
AbShelter prefabricated reinforced concrete bomb shelter
The AbShelter bomb shelter is designed to protect the population from modern weapons of mass destruction in wartime, and in peacetime – to protect against the consequences of accidents, disasters and natural disasters that threaten mass casualties. Protective structures are also used for economic purposes.
Protective structures of civil protection (civil defense) are engineering structures designed to protect people from the influence of dangerous factors arising from emergency situations, in particular, military actions and acts of terrorism.
When building a bomb shelter, there are some requirements:
• the shelter should become a reliable protection against adverse effects;
• the storage must be equipped with several exits, including an emergency (evacuation) exit;
• the object of civil defense must be resistant to an increase in the amount of moisture in the soil;
• provide conditions for full-fledged life activities of people during the period of placement in the shelter;
• storage facilities must meet the necessary sanitary and hygienic standards.
AbShelter bomb shelters protect against all types of effects of aerial attack, including direct hits from heavy high-explosive bombs, shielding against shock waves, shrapnel and toxic effects, building collapses, and fires.
The AbShelter prefabricated bomb shelter consists of:
• internal elements with a width of 2.5 or 3.0 m;
• external elements that form the beginning and the end;
• suitable floor slabs.
Strength class of concrete min. C45/55.
Environmental impact class of concrete min. XC4, XD3, XF1, XA1, XM3, or higher depending on order.
In addition to standard sizes, we also manufacture elements with dimensions for an individual project. We equip the bomb storage with additional (evacuation) exits and ventilation.
Bomb shelter elements are equipped with steel anchors and special mounting sockets. All steel connecting elements are protected against corrosion. Bolted connection of bomb shelter elements. Guaranteed tightness of elements and connections. The AbShelter bomb shelter meets the requirements of DBN B.2.2.5-97
How can bomb shelters be used in peacetime?
